Privacy Policy
Delvantic — how we collect, use, and protect your information.
1. Who we are
Delvantic operates this website, which provides AI-assisted fundamental equity research and related tools. This policy explains what personal information we collect from visitors and account holders, why, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the site. Specifically:
- Account information — when you register, we collect a username, an email address, and a password (stored only as a secure one-way hash, never in plain text). A first/last name is optional.
- Newsletter — if you subscribe, we collect your email address.
- Automatically collected technical data — when you register or subscribe, and for security and troubleshooting, we may record your IP address and browser user-agent string. These are used to prevent abuse/spam and to diagnose errors — not to build advertising profiles.
- How you reached us — when you register, we record the
referring website, any campaign tags in the link you followed
(e.g.
utm_source,ref), and the first page you landed on. This is held only in your browser's session storage until you sign up (cleared when you close the tab — not a persistent cookie), then stored with your account. We use it to understand where our users come from — not for advertising, and it is never shared or sold. - Cookies — see Section 5. We use only strictly-necessary cookies.
We do not collect payment card numbers, precise geolocation, biometric data, or other sensitive categories through this website. We do not run advertising or analytics trackers, session-replay, or third-party marketing pixels.
3. How we use your information
- To create and secure your account and log you in.
- To send you the newsletter you asked for, and account emails such as verification.
- To prevent spam, fraud, and abuse, and to keep the service secure.
- To diagnose problems and improve the site.
4. How we share information
We do not sell or share your personal information for money or for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information only to service providers who help us operate the site (for example, our email delivery provider and our hosting provider), and only as needed to perform those services, or where required by law.
5. Cookies
This site sets only strictly-necessary cookies, which do not require consent under California or EU law:
- Session cookie (
PHPSESSID/DELVLOCALSESSID) — keeps you logged in during your visit; set for all visitors when a session starts. - "Remember me" cookie — set only if you tick "Remember me" at login, so you stay signed in on your device.
- CSRF token — a security value tied to your session that protects forms against cross-site request forgery.
Because we use no advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies, we do not display a cookie consent banner.
6. "Do Not Sell or Share" & Global Privacy Control
We do not sell or share your personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of in that respect. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. If you have questions about this, contact us at the address below.
7. Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and how we use it (described above).
- Request access to, or a copy of, the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — which we do not do.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these, email us at delvantic@gmail.com. You can delete a newsletter subscription at any time using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email.
8. Data retention & security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we use reasonable technical measures (including password hashing and access controls) to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
9. Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Draft as of" / last-updated date at the top reflects the most recent change.
